This platform has become an essential resource for our educators and students, allowing them to explore and share content in classrooms, at events, and in their homes. We particularly value the tools Edge Factor has created to promote the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP), Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM), and careers in the skilled trades.

We’ve been using Edge Factor to learn about different skilled trades, and it’s been a great way to start thinking ahead to high school. The videos are easy to understand and show what people do in their jobs, which helped my son to see how school connects to real careers. It’s sparked interest in hands-on paths we hadn’t considered before. It’s been a simple but meaningful way to explore options together.
