Haas Automation and Haas Factory Outlets have been teaming up with local secondary, post-secondary, career, and training centers for over a decade now to host regional and national Haas Technical Education Community (HTEC) conferences all across North America, to share best practices and build relationships.

The annual national conference has become a real game-changer for educators. It’s about bringing together the best and the brightest minds in the industry to share knowledge, exchange ideas, learn about new technology, and celebrate successful manufacturing training programs.

High school teachers, college professors, and training center instructors, will get the chance to network with fellow educators, learn about the latest trends in the field, and discover innovative teaching strategies that will take their students' skills to the next level.

Edge Factor’s President & Founder Jeremy Bout, Vice President Larissa Hofman and our team member Taylor Campbell are excited to present an interactive workshop on Edge Factor’s platform on Tuesday afternoon and for Jeremy to emcee the “HTEC Community Awards for Teaching Excellence” on Tuesday evening.

“The HTEC Education Community Awards for Teaching Excellence are designed to acknowledge the best in manufacturing education,” said Jeremy Bout, Founder of Edge Factor. “These awards will celebrate top performing educators in Secondary schools, Community College, and 4 year colleges who push the limits on what is possible in manufacturing education. I feel honoured that HTEC asked me to emcee this event and announce the winners at the National Conference!”

Edge Factor is delighted to announce that the top Award Winner of the Teaching Excellence Award will receive an all-expenses-paid production from Edge Factor! Drew’s keynote “Re-Igniting the Flame of the Backbone of America” will focus on recruiting new students into manufacturing programs, building the workforce pipeline, and elevating the future of the industry.
