The Edge Factor team is delighted to participate in the 50th Annual ACTEAZ Summer Conference. Edge Factor's Vice President, Larissa Hofman, has been invited by the Arizona Dept of Education to lead a session for new CTE Directors.

This session empowers CTE Directors, Educators, and School Counselors with innovative tools to engage families and recruit new students. The ACTEAZ Summer Conference is one of the largest CTE conferences in the nation, expecting 6,000 attendees from across Arizona. The event will focus on the theme, “Empower Lives,” offering professional development sessions and opportunities for educators, counselors, and industry leaders to connect with peers and the CTE community. This event advances ACTE’s vision of “Empowering educators to deliver high-quality CTE programs that ensure all students are positioned for career success.

The conference will be held at the Westin La Paloma Resort in Tucson, Arizona, from July 10-16, 2025. Sponsored by Maricopa Community College, Elevate EdAZ, Visit Tucson, The Westin La Paloma, and Loews Ventana Canyon, it will cover a wide range of program areas, including Administration, Agriculture, Construction, Education & Training, Health Sciences, and Information Technology. Highlights include a keynote presentation by Dr. John Mulcahey, a Career and Technical Education (CTE) evangelist and a lifelong educator. The event will also feature 300+ sessions, hands-on workshops, and ADE-approved certification courses.

On Monday, July 14th, at 8:00 am, Larissa Hofman will be presenting a session to School counsellors. Later that day, Larissa will present to CTE Directors in a powerful session titled, "Breaking Barriers: Recruiting and Engaging New CTE Students". Larissa will equip attendees with tools to inspire and engage K-12+ learners. Leveraging the power of storytelling, Edge Factor’s vast library of multimedia content propels students forward in their career journeys. Attendees will leave with shareable content, including multimedia tools created in partnership with the Center for the Future of Arizona, aligned with their Possible Futures curriculum, and digitized curriculums from the Arizona Business Education Coalition.

On Wednesday, July 16th Larissa will present to New CTE Directors, in a session titled, "Purposeful CTE and Career Exploration: Equip and Inspire Students" where she will introduce them to Edge Factor, a popular e-learning platform that inspires learners to explore, prepare, and connect on their career journey. With thousands of videos, interactive activities, and educational lesson plans, Edge Factor provides resources and tools for career development.

We have released top content and pages created and recommended for different types of Educators! Every Educator from K -12, with premium Edge Factor memberships can access the full K-12 library and features.
